Acquisition of Nordon, Inc.

Arbor Private Investment Company today announced that it has completed its acquisition of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania-based Nordon, Inc. Nordon is a leading super-regional distributor of foodservice equipment in the mid-Atlantic U.S., with facilities in Philadelphia and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Rochester, New York. The Company services customers in the high population density, four state territory of Pennsylvania, Delaware, New York and New Jersey. Terms of the sale were withheld.
Nordon is the dominant player in the mid-Atlantic region, and one of the largest foodservice equipment distributors in the country. The Company has longstanding relationships with market leading manufacturers including Carrier Commercial Refrigeration, Hoshizaki America, and Amana. Nordon sells to a diverse customer base of foodservice equipment dealers, convenience stores, dairies, foodservice distributors and national restaurant chains.

The Nordon transaction represents the latest acquisition by The Pinnacle Equipment Group, Arbor’s platform to consolidate the highly fragmented foodservice equipment distribution, leasing and service industries. “Nordon provides Pinnacle with a major mid-Atlantic presence and will be the cornerstone for further distribution consolidation,” said Gregory Purcell, Arbor Managing Partner.
