Gold Standard Baking Announces the Acquisition of Oven Fresh Baking

Gold Standard Baking, LLC, based in Chicago, IL, announced that it has purchased assets of Oven Fresh Baking Company, Inc., a manufacturer and marketer of private label fresh and frozen baked goods. Gold Standard Baking is majority-owned by Chicago-based Arbor Investments, a food and beverage focused private equity firm. Terms of the sale were withheld.
Based in Chicago, IL, Oven Fresh Baking manufactures and markets fresh and frozen baked goods, both for private label and under the Dressel’s® brand name. The Company serves multiple markets, including airlines, retail supermarkets and wholesale distributors. The Company’s products include croissants in butter, margarine and whole wheat butter varieties, as well as individually wrapped gourmet muffins and danish.
