Great Kitchens, Inc. Opens New Headquarters and Production Facility in Romeoville, IL

(Romeoville, IL) A ribbon cutting ceremony was held today as Great Kitchens, Inc. officially commemorated the grand opening of its new headquarters, production center, research & development kitchen and warehouse & distribution facility in Romeoville, IL. Great Kitchens is the country’s leader in the production of deli pizzas and one of the largest suppliers of private label frozen pizzas in North America.
Great Kitchens’ new 155,000 square foot facility represents a significant milestone for both the Company, the Chicagoland area and the Village of Romeoville. “To increase our competitiveness and further meet the demands of our customers, it was critical for Great Kitchens to expand its production capabilities,” said Dennis Malchow, CEO of Great Kitchens, Inc. “This world-class facility achieves that and more. It allows us to bring our production, R&D, warehouse and distribution under one roof. This is a great opportunity for our Company, and we are grateful for the support we have received from Romeoville throughout our approval and construction stages.”

Great Kitchens is located in Romeoville’s Southcreek Corporate Center, east of Weber Road and north of Airport Road at 300 Innovation Drive.
The ribbon cutting ceremony to memorialize the day was attended by the leaders of Great Kitchens, Inc., its parent company, Arbor Investments, government officials and representatives from WBS Equities, the project developer, and Carlson Brothers, Inc., which served as the contractor for the new facility. Events included a tour of the facility, the ribbon cutting ceremony and a reception where Great Kitchens’ pizzas and appetizers were served to those attending.
Great Kitchens offers its pizzas in a wide range of varieties and sizes, including mini, individual, French bread, Focaccia, flatbread, Chicago-style deep dish, 12” traditional and family size (14”, 16” and 18”) take-and-bake. In addition to classic cheese, pepperoni and sausage varieties, Great Kitchens also produces exciting upscale flavors such as Thai chicken, Tarte Flambé, margherita and carne asada. Appetizer products include traditional favorites such as potato skins, mini quesadillas, bread bowls and stuffed jalapeno peppers as well as delicious puff pastry bites, stuffed mushrooms and bruschetta.
