Acquisition of National Provisions, Inc.

Chicago, Illinois-based Arbor Private Investment Company, L.P., in conjunction with its Operating Partner Steven Zoll and senior management, announced today that it has completed the acquisition of Miami, Florida-based National Provisions, Inc. The Company, a former division of Hebrew National, is one of the nation’s leading branded deli meat companies, offering a full line of beef-based, fully-cooked and seasoned premium deli meats under the National Deli brand. Terms of the sale were withheld.
National Deli’s history of producing high quality, authentic deli meats dates to 1982, when the Company was founded to serve the growing demand for both kosher-style and non-kosher delicatessen meats. The Company’s core product line includes corned beef, roast beef and pastrami, as well as hot dogs, turkey pastrami and double lobe turkey. Over the past twenty five years, National Deli has become a recognized brand in its key regional markets, especially in the southeastern United States. National Deli products can be found in a wide range of restaurants, grocery chains and independent delis. The Company has earned a reputation as a leader in the deli meat industry due to outstanding product taste, quality and service. National Deli’s products are manufactured at its modern facility in Miami, Florida.
Steven Zoll, Arbor Operating Partner and former President of ConAgra Foods Refrigerated Foodservice Company, will serve as Chairman of the Board of Directors and George Bell will remain with the Company in his current role as President. Rick Bruskin and Joseph Bonomo will continue in their roles as Vice Presidents.
