Biography
Mr. Malchow joined Arbor in 1999. Mr. Malchow is the former Chief Executive Officer of the Martin-Brower Company, LLC, a $3.5 billion distribution company servicing over 7,000 McDonald’s Restaurants in North and South America. During his 20+ year tenure with Martin-Brower, Mr. Malchow has held the roles of President, Senior Vice President Operations (U.S. and Canada) and Director of Field Sales. Previously, Mr. Malchow spent ten years with the Oscar Mayer Company in field sales and operations. Mr. Malchow is one of eight recipients of McDonald’s Silver Fox Award for recognition of professional competence, integrity and contribution to the McDonald’s supply chain. Mr. Malchow is responsible for Arbor’s investments in Great Kitchens, Inc., and Sam’s Wines and Liquors, Inc. He also serves as Chief Executive Officer for both companies.
Mr. Malchow has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California. He also attended Harvard University’s Agribusiness Senior Management Seminar at the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration.
