Biography
Mr. Purcell was a co-founder of the General Partner in 1999. Since that time he has been actively involved in initiating investment opportunities, structuring acquisitions, limited partner relations and firm management. Prior to founding the General Partner, Mr. Purcell was Senior Vice President of Mergers & Acquisitions at Reyes Holdings, LLC, the largest privately-held food and beverage company in America. Before joining Reyes Holdings, Mr. Purcell was a commercial banking Division Head at American National Bank of Chicago (now owned by JP Morgan Chase). Mr. Purcell is Chairman of Arbor Bottling, Inc., Great Kitchens, Inc., Foundation Foods USA, Inc., Trudeau Foods, LLC, Sam’s Wines and Liquors, Inc., Midland Container Corporation and Bradshaw International. Additionally, Mr. Purcell serves on the board of the Chicago Public Library Foundation and is a Director of The Private Bank and Trust Company of Chicago (NASDAQ: PVTB) – North Shore banks.
Mr. Purcell has a Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Science degree from Marquette University.
